Karen entered animal behavior and training as a feline behavior consultant and still specializes in working with cats. She loves and appreciates dogs, too! Since she began working with dogs ten years ago, she has focused on fearful/undersocialized dogs, puppies, and dog who are “reactive” toward people. She enjoys helping people gain a deeper understanding of their companion animals. She emphasizes clear communication, meeting needs, and empathy to improve animal behavior. Karen prioritizes collaboration, reasonable expectations, and practical strategies in her behavior and training plans.
